A Big CMPD News Day In The OC Register

TWO GREAT ARTICLES
Monday was a very big day for the Costa Mesa Police Department on the pages of the Orange County Register.

COPS SAVE IMPAIRED GIRL
Leading the way, on page 1 of the Local section, HERE, was this great article by Claudia Koerner about the rescue of the 14-year-old girl rescued by members of the CMPD while teetering in a stupor over the 55 Freeway last Tuesday.  Mentioned specifically in this article were Sergeant Tim Starn and officers James Brown and David Sevilla.

OLIN SAVES DROWNED GIRL
Then, in the same section, the entire page 5, HERE, was used by writer Samantha Dunn to tell the story of the lifesaving effort by Officer Matt Olin last week when he brought a four-year-old girl back to life after she drowned in a family pool.
NOT BEHIND THE PAYWALL
Fortunately for most of us, it looks like you can access both of these excellent articles because they don't appear to be protected by the Register's bogus paywall.

KUDOS
One more time, congratulations to all the officers involved in these heroic efforts.

Great writing in these articles.

CMPD is heads above what you will find elsewhere. These men have been here for years and are willing to do this type of back and heart breaking job because they are dedicated.

I am sickened by Righeimer and Mensinger and Monahan, and their villification, hatred and vindictivness towards these men.

Kudos to the CMPD and the CMFD for being the professional and straight up guys you are.

Hang in there. November is coming...
